The Hartford is seeking a Sr Staff Data Engineer in Hartford, CT to lead and deliver large-scale data products across multiple platforms. You will drive end-to-end solutions, influence architecture, and ensure scalable, high-quality data pipelines while aligning with business goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5 years of experience in software development or data engineering.
5 years in programming, SDLC, distributed systems, and data warehousing/ETL tools.
3 years in CI/CD, Big data, Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure), Python or Spark, Datamesh, Datalake, Snowflake, cloud production workloads, and Agile/SDLC methodologies.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale data products across multiple platforms.
Partner with architects and stakeholders to influence and implement data pipeline architecture while ensuring scalability and data integrity.
