Job summary

Huron Consulting Group Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer to manage and optimize data pipelines across multi-client environments.

You will configure deployments, monitor daily data loads, and triage data issues while collaborating with the DataOps lead to ensure reliable client reporting. Responsibilities include provisioning new environments, supporting SFTP ingestion, and contributing to CI/CD and AWS infrastructure.

Qualifications

U.S. work authorization is required.
Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, Engineering, or related field.
2–3+ years of experience in data engineering, DevOps, or DataOps.
Strong Python scripting for data ingestion and pipeline automation.
Experience with AWS data pipeline infrastructure (S3, Athena, Lambda, EC2, SNS/SQS).
CI/CD pipelines experience (Jenkins) and Git workflows.

Responsibilities

Support daily operation and monitoring of data pipelines across 10+ client environments.
Set up, configure, and support deployment of client-facing applications from environment setup through go-live stabilization.
Validate daily data flows across client environments and investigate anomalies in logs.
Provision new client environments and coordinate with client IT on formats and encryption.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and AWS infrastructure under DataOps lead.
