Job summary

DevSavant in the United States is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a cross-functional team building scalable data systems and analytics infrastructure. This individual contributor role focuses on designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and models that power analytics and business decisions, blending software engineering with deep data expertise.

You will collaborate with Data Science, Data Ops, and business stakeholders to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and well-documented

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in data engineering or data infrastructure.
• Strong SQL and relational database experience.
• Experience building and maintaining scalable data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python or another general-purpose language (Java/Go/Scala acceptable).
• Experience with modern data stack tools (Spark, DBT, Airflow/Dagster).
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks).
• Ability to design data systems that support analytics and BI.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own, build, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines.
• Design architectures to support analytics and operational use cases.
• Work with large, complex datasets to meet evolving business requirements.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across systems.
• Develop datasets for analytics and modeling with well-documented provenance.
• Improve data workflows, pipelines, and infrastructure.
