Job summary

West Monroe is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize cloud data platforms enabling advanced analytics, AI, and BI. You will mentor consultants, contribute to solution design, and deliver high-quality outcomes for clients.

The role focuses on Databricks, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric, with data lakehouse and warehouse architectures, and collaboration with client stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years designing and implementing enterprise data engineering solutions.
• Hands-on with Databricks, Snowflake, and/or Microsoft Fabric in enterprise environments.
• Experience building cloud-native data pipelines using Spark, SQL, Python, and orchestration tools.
• Experience with lakehouse architectures, cloud data warehousing, data modeling, and ELT/ETL.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize cloud-native data solutions using Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, and related data technologies.
• Architect and deliver modern cloud data solutions using AWS, Azure, and GCP, integrating cloud-native technologies with Databricks, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric to support analytics initiatives.
• Build scalable batch and streaming data pipelines for enterprise analytics and reporting.
• Design and implement lakehouse and data warehouse architectures to improve data accessibility and governance.
• Mentor junior consultants and ensure high-quality data engineering deliverables.
