Job summary

SRM Technologies seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud data solutions using Python, PySpark, Snowflake, and dbt. You will contribute to modern lakehouse architectures, ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, and production-grade engineering practices.

You will own complex data-engineering components, drive technical decisions, troubleshoot production issues, and mentor junior engineers across AWS-based data platforms.

Qualifications

8+ years of overall Data Engineering experience building enterprise-scale cloud data platforms and pipelines.
Strong hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, Snowflake, dbt, Iceberg, and AWS.
Experience in cloud data platforms, lakehouse architectures, ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
Build production-quality data-processing solutions using Python and PySpark.
Create reusable ingestion, transformation, validation, and publishing components.
Handle large structured, semi-structured datasets; implement incremental and batch processing.
Support CI/CD practices for dbt projects and data-lake architectures.
