Job summary

UsefulBI is seeking an experienced Data Architect/Data Engineer to design scalable data solutions for analytics, reporting, and enterprise data needs. You will model data, build warehouses and data lakes, and guide data platform decisions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with business and analytics teams, ensuring data quality, security, governance, and performance. Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), SQL, and big data tools is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Data Architecture / Data Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, databases, and data modeling.
• Experience with ETL/ELT and data integration.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Experience with Data Warehouse, Data Lake/Lakehouse, Big Data technologies (Spark, Kafka, Hadoop).
• Understanding of data governance, security, and performance optimization.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise data architecture solutions.
• Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
