Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Senior Associate Data Engineer to guide a growing analytics landscape. You will design, build, and deploy data solutions enabling AI, machine learning and business intelligence across the enterprise.

You will leverage Python, SQL, AWS, and Databricks in a fast-paced environment, ensuring data quality, governance and security while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver impactful data products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM related field or equivalent.
• Five years of related experience.
• Leverage AI Expertise: experience with OpenAI and AWS Bedrock to drive innovative projects.
• Technical Proficiency: Python, SQL, AWS, Databricks to develop robust AI applications.
• Terraform experience to streamline infra management and deployment.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Build and operationalize data solutions, correct problems, apply transformations, and recommend data cleansing/quality solutions.
• Participate in the design of data solutions.
• Analyze sources to determine value and recommend data to include in analytical processes.
• Incorporate data governance, data security and data quality practices.
• Collaborate with team and business users to support delivery and educate end users on data products.
