Travelers Data Engineering team constructs pipelines that contextualize and provide easy access to data by the entire enterprise. As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in growing and transforming our analytics landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
• At least 6 years of related experience in data engineering or software engineering.
• Experience with AI tools (OpenAI) and AWS Bedrock is a plus.
• Strong Python, SQL, AWS, Databricks and Terraform skills.
• Ability to design robust data solutions supporting AI/ML and BI.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate complex data solutions and ensure data quality.
• Design data solutions and assess data value for analytics.
• Collaborate across teams to enable data products for end users.
• Test data movement, transformations, and components; resolve defects.
• Contribute to data governance, security and quality practices.
