Travelers is seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to grow and transform our analytics landscape. You will design, build and deploy data solutions that support AI, machine learning and business intelligence initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in data engineering, strong Python and SQL skills, Databricks experience, and proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure considered). Collaboration across teams is essential to deliver reliable data products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field or equivalent experience.
• Eight years of related data engineering experience.
• Strong in Python and SQL, with hands-on data engineering practice.

Responsibilities

• Build and operationalize complex data solutions, perform data cleansing and quality work.
• Design complex data solutions and assess value of data sources.
• Collaborate across teams to support delivery and educate end users on data products.
• Perform data and system analysis, resolve defects and incidents.
• Test data movement and transformations.
• Ensure data governance, security and quality.
• Support AI, ML and BI initiatives with reliable data pipelines.
