Thomson Reuters is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to lead the development of advanced reporting solutions using DBT, Snowflake, SQL, Python, and BI tools. You will integrate AI-driven insights into reporting for strategic decision making and partner with senior stakeholders to translate complex data into actionable business outcomes.

The role emphasizes data governance, mentoring, and steering technical roadmaps in a hybrid US-based environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, CS, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive data engineering experience leading complex reporting and BI solutions.
• Expert proficiency in DBT, SQL, Alteryx, Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau, Python, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Hands-on AI/ML solution design and deployment experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead architecture, development and maintenance of data pipelines, frameworks and dashboards using DBT, SQL, Python, Claude.AI, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to define reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Champion AI techniques to innovate reporting solutions and provide predictive insights.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends and inform strategic decisions.
• Enforce data governance, quality and integrity across reporting solutions and mentor others.
• Provide guidance and training on tools, analytics methods, and AI technologies.
• Drive continuous improvement of reporting processes and contribute to the technical roadmap.
• Present complex findings and recommendations to executives and stakeholders.
