Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to steer the design, development, and maintenance of sophisticated data pipelines and reporting solutions. You will leverage DBT, Snowflake, Claude.AI, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python, Excel, and PowerPoint to deliver actionable insights and AI-enhanced analytics.

You will partner with senior stakeholders to align reporting with strategic goals, guide data governance, and mentor the team while driving a roadmap of cutting-edge AI-enabled data

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; Master’s is a plus.
8+ years in data engineering or equivalent, leading BI projects.
Expert in DBT, Snowflake, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Lead data pipelines, dashboards, and analytics using DBT, SQL, Python, and BI tools.
Define complex reporting needs with senior stakeholders and deliver insights.
Incorporate AI/ML to drive predictive and prescriptive reporting.
Mentor team members and enforce data governance practices.
Present findings and strategic recommendations to executives.
