Job summary

Leidos in Arlington, VA is hiring a Principal Engineer / Technical Lead to support the CESO with migrating to a high‑security cloud and delivering secure web services, network, monitoring, and system administration on a modern automated platform.

You will guide architectural direction, lead senior engineers, and ensure DevSecOps practices, automated CI/CD, and scalable database modernization across on‑prem and cloud environments to meet mission requirements.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• Minimum of 12+ years of hands-on technical experience.
• Experience leading teams and delivering complex software systems in large-scale environments.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and architect database architecture to support modernization and cloud adoption.
• Lead development of secure APIs and data pipelines across structured/unstructured data.
• Define technical strategy and oversee scalable, secure software solutions across teams.
• Implement DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability and security controls.
• Ensure delivery across Agile teams and alignment with product roadmaps.
