Pearson is seeking a Data Engineer / Full Stack Engineer in the United States to design and build scalable backend services, data pipelines, APIs, and cloud-native solutions. The role spans Python/Django DRF, Nuxt/Vue frontend, AWS serverless, and data transformation with AWS Glue.

You will work across backend and frontend, implement secure authentication, manage data quality, and contribute to CICD pipelines in a distributed Agile environment, with emphasis on performance and reliability.

Competenze

• Experience building Python/Django REST APIs with DRF.
• Strong background in AWS serverless and data pipelines.
• Frontend experience with Nuxt/Vue and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and cloud security best practices.

Mansioni

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python, Django, and DRF.
• Build and document RESTful APIs using DRF/OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Implement data validation and API response modeling with Pydantic.
• Develop secure auth using django-rest-knox, OAuth, and Azure/AD.
• Create frontend apps with Nuxt 4, Vue 3, and TypeScript, manage state with Pinia.
• Engineer data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using AWS Glue, Pandas, NumPy.
• Operate serverless apps with AWS Lambda, SQS/SNS, EventBridge; manage Redis caching.
• Provision cloud infrastructure with AWS CDK (Python) and Terraform; deploy via Docker/ECR.
• Collaborate in Agile teams; participate in code reviews and CI/CD improvements.
