Job summary

Langan is seeking a Senior Project Engineer/Manager to lead nationwide water strategy efforts for data center projects. You will drive due diligence, water sourcing, regulatory compliance, and discharge planning across diverse jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in environmental, chemical, civil engineering or closely related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Professional certification (e.g., PE, CHMM) or on track to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead water due diligence for data center developments and source water availability assessments.
• Develop and implement water sourcing strategies across municipal, groundwater, surface water, and reclaimed sources.
• Advance wastewater discharge strategies including NPDES permitting and water reuse.
• Coordinate with engineering teams on water and wastewater infrastructure planning.
• Provide regulatory guidance on water treatment, reuse, and regulatory obligations.
