Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking an Sr. Solution Infrastructure Engineer to design and deploy infrastructure components, focusing on storage, data center, and VMware technologies. The role is remote, with preference for candidates in the St.

Louis metro area, and onsite presence required on occasion. The ideal candidate has deep experience in enterprise infrastructure and can manage technical debt while proposing remedial actions for legacy platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and deploying infrastructure solutions.
• Knowledge of storage, data center and VMware technologies.
• Ability to manage technical debt and remediations for legacy systems.

Responsibilities

• Designs large or complex systems and analyzes major design options and trade-offs.
• Adopts and adapts system design methods, tools and techniques.
• Produces network architectures, topologies and configuration databases for own area.
• Specifies design parameters for connectivity, capacity, security and access.
• Collaborates with teams on ongoing systems and software lifecycle management.
