Job summary

Riot Platforms, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Center Technical Trainer to join our Central Operations team. You will build and deliver Riot's technical training program for onsite operations and maintenance across critical power and cooling infrastructure, safety, and policy.

You'll shape strategy and content behind how our operations teams are trained and certified. You will lead training classes, certify employees, and design drills.

Qualifications

• Experience designing or delivering technical training programs in data center or critical facilities.
• 7+ years in curriculum development, certification processes, and adult learning principles.
• Background in emergency response planning or drill design in industrial or data center settings.
• Familiarity with OSHA, NFPA 70E safety standards.
• Experience facilitating in-person training or drills for technical staff with strong presentation skills.
• Able to travel regularly to support training across multiple site locations.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or hands-on data center operations experience.
• Certifications such as CDCP or CDCS.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates and delivers technical training sessions across classroom, virtual, and hands-on formats.
• Serves as senior technical training resource, partnering with SMEs and operations teams for consistent instruction.
• Develops and maintains training materials, job aids, and work instructions.
• Maintains training records in LMS and tracks qualification progress.
• Administers assessments and practical evaluations to validate competency.
• Conducts training audits and aligns content with standards.
• Collaborates with Operations and Governance to align activities with business priorities.
• Identifies gaps and opportunities through metrics and feedback.
• Coaches trainers and learners to promote consistent instructional practices.
• Promotes continuous learning, safety, and operational readiness.
