Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Trainer to design, develop, and deliver scalable training for data center technicians and low‑voltage professionals.

The role focuses on safely performing work in live data center environments and advancing onboarding for technical staff. The position partners with SMEs and operations to ensure training materials meet industry standards (TIA/EIA, CSOD) and alignment with client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5–8 years hands-on experience with low‑voltage electrical and structured cabling work, including cable pulling and routing, termination, splicing, and patching.
• Testing and troubleshooting copper and/or fiber cabling; data center environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical learning ambassador by modeling CBRE RISE values.
• Facilitate technical training programs and onboarding for data center technicians, with focus on low‑voltage and structured cabling.
• Teach: low‑voltage fundamentals, cabling, testing, and certification; data center pathways, racks, and ladder tray systems.
• Develop training assets including instructor-led content, SOPs, simulations, and digital modules.
• Validate technical accuracy with SMEs and field leadership; assess learner readiness and training effectiveness.
