Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Trainer to design, develop, and deploy scalable training for data center technicians. The role emphasizes low-voltage cabling, industry standards, and hands-on safety in live data center environments.

Located in Westerville, OH or Indianapolis, IN, the position collaborates with SMEs and operations to deliver high-impact programs and measure effectiveness through training reports and assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5-8 years of hands-on experience with low‑voltage electrical and structured cabling work.
• Experience in datacenter or mission‑critical environments is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate technical training programs for data center technicians, focusing on low-voltage and cabling systems.
• Develop learning assets: instructor-led content, job aids, simulations, assessments, SOPs, and digital modules.
• Translate field processes into clear, repeatable training content.
• Ensure alignment with industry standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI) and client requirements.
