Job summary

Milestone Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Technician III (L3) to maintain and support critical data center infrastructure. You will act as escalation for complex hardware, network, and infrastructure issues and mentor junior staff while leading technical projects.

You will install and troubleshoot servers, storage, and network devices, manage asset records, and coordinate with engineering, facilities, and program management to ensure high uptime and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT/CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years in enterprise or hyperscale data center environments.
• Experience with Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Supermicro servers.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching, cabling).
• Experience troubleshooting Linux and Windows server hardware.
• Knowledge of data center power, cooling, rack infrastructure, and operational procedures.
• Experience with asset management systems and ticketing platforms such as ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and decommission servers, storage systems, network devices, and related hardware.
• Lead break/fix activities for critical incidents and coordinate resolution with vendors and engineering teams.
• Perform rack-and-stack deployments, cable management, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Mentor junior staff and lead small-to-mid-scale deployment and infrastructure projects.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
