Job summary

Aligned Data Centers, LLC is seeking a Lead Critical Facilities Technician to support our 24x7 data center operations. Under the Facility Manager, you will perform hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems, ensure change control adherence, and supervise contractor activities.

The role requires 3–5 years in electrical/mechanical critical facilities or 7+ years in HVAC/mechanical electrical tech, with overtime flexibility and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 3–5 years’ experience in electrical or mechanical critical facilities support; or 7+ years’ experience as HVAC or mechanical/electrical technician.
• Electrical/Mechanical certifications preferred.
• Able to work overtime and longer shifts (12 hour); shifts may include day/night/weekend/holiday; computer skills required: MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, monitors, and performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
• Operates and monitors critical and non‑critical system equipment and components.
• Oversees 3rd party contractors for safe operation and maintenance of critical equipment.
• Responds to emergencies and documents work orders in the CMMS.
• Understands electrical systems; evaluates safety and assigns responsibilities accordingly.
