Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Senior Technician to support our Buffalo, NY data center on-site Monday-Friday. Responsibilities include managing MAC work orders, supervising technicians, and coordinating handoffs with peers.

The role requires extensive data center experience and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. Starting pay range is $72,000–$90,000 with a benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Data Center Operation.
• Minimum 5 years of experience within a Data Center.
• Minimum 5 year of experience performing Data Center-Tape Operations/Smart hands/Device reboots-Tape Operations/Smart hands/Device reboots

Responsibilities

• Manage the work order queue and assign technicians.
• Schedule shift activity and mentor technicians.
• Coordinate with peer lead technicians for handoffs.
• Deliver MAC requests including hardware installs and cabling.
• Troubleshoot hardware, connectivity issues and replace components.
• Maintain inventory and tracking in DC Portal.
• Provide data center escorts and QA checks on work orders.
• Be part of on-call rotation and after-hours support.
