Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Technician to support daily operations, cleanliness, and light maintenance at an onsite data center.

The role involves front-office assistance, material handling, and coordinating with the CFOps team when needed. The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma, at least 6 months of facility maintenance experience, and be comfortable performing physical labor such as drywall repair and painting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months’ facility maintenance or custodian experience.
• Forklift certification can be provided during employment.
• Basic computer and tablet aptitude; familiarity with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day cleanliness of the facility including data center, customer area, offices and restrooms.
• Assist front-of-house with requests (furniture moves, loading, lighting, cleanliness).
• Maintain client cages and data floor debris; prepare summary reports of conditions.
• Order, track and restock facility consumables to minimize costs.
• Perform physical labor including drywall patches, painting, and small repairs.
