Job summary

Lambda, The Superintelligence Cloud, is seeking a data center infrastructure specialist to help rack, label, cable, configure, and troubleshoot advanced GPU and networking systems in our Columbus, OH data center.

You will document layouts in DCIM and coordinate with supply chain, manufacturing, and support teams to deploy large-scale systems and manage inventory across multiple data centers.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with critical infrastructure systems supporting data centers (power distribution, airflow, environmental monitoring, capacity planning, DCIM, cabling).
• Familiar with DIA circuit test, fiber testing and troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of fiber optics.
• Understanding of single and three-phase power.
• PDU balancing and its importance.
• Familiar with multiple cable media types.
• Knowledge of cold isle and hot isle containment.
• Solid understanding of server hardware and boot process.
• Ability to structure and improve maintenance MOPs.
• Willingness to travel for bring-up of new data center locations.

Responsibilities

• Rack, label, cabling and configure new server, storage and network gear.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software in GPU and networking systems.
• Document data center layout and topology in DCIM software.
• Coordinate with supply chain & manufacturing for large-scale deployments.
• Manage a parts depot inventory through the delivery‑store‑stage‑deploy‑handoff process across data centers.
• Collaborate with HW Support to resolve incidents and disseminate solutions.
• Work with RMA to return faulty parts and order replacements.
• Follow installation standards to ensure consistency across data centers.
• Support cross-functional projects where infrastructure is critical.
• Willingness to travel for bring up of new data center locations.
