Crusoe is seeking a Senior Staff Data Center Systems Engineer, R&D to join our R&D team as the principal technical authority responsible for defining Crusoe’s data center architecture. You will evaluate next-generation technologies and lead the development of system-level integration concepts for pilot-scale validation through hyperscale deployment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive engineering experience in data center design or large-scale infrastructure.
• Ability to architect across electrical, mechanical, thermal, and compute domains.
• Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of next-generation data center reference architectures.
• Evaluate emerging technologies with a full-system lens.
• Define and maintain systems-level architecture across engineering disciplines.
• Guide technologies from bench-scale to hyperscale deployment.
• Author high-level specifications and design standards.
