Job summary

CoreSite is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer in the United States to lead technology evaluation and solution design with the Sales team. You will articulate complex concepts to business and technical stakeholders and ensure deal profitability through rigorous engagement.

The role requires strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and networking, with travel and hybrid work expectations. Competitive compensation with equity opportunities is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related IT field.
• Data center industry experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking technologies.

Responsibilities

• Participate in customer-facing meetings to align objectives and determine requirements for tailored solutions.
• Lead in-depth product and solution discussions, communicating features and benefits clearly.
• Prepare technical proposals and architectural design overviews for customers.
• Coordinate with external vendors to evaluate third-party solutions as needed.
• Collaborate with Sales to design tailored technology solutions and respond to RFPs/RFIs.
