Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Lead Scheduler to own the schedule review discipline for a confidential hyperscale data center client, setting the standard for the team and handling independent reviews. You will test developer-provided dates, lead a working schedule review, and define evidence requirements.

You will balance hands-on reviews with setting the method and prioritizing work based on risk and urgency.

Qualifications

Minimum 10–15 years of planning and scheduling experience, data center or mission-critical delivery preferred.
Strong ability to independently review and challenge developer schedules and communicate findings clearly.
Experience training, mentoring, or reviewing other schedule professionals.

Responsibilities

Assess developer construction schedules from the ground up: logic, critical path, float, sequencing.
Review long-lead equipment, workforce loading, and supply chain assumptions behind dates.
Be precise about confirmed vs. estimated data and assert when dates are unsupported.
Identify risks such as long-lead equipment, permitting, utility connections, and tight commissioning windows.
Track schedule movements over multiple reviews and flag material variances and causes.
Assess what could realistically recover time and distinguish real options from cosmetic changes.
Ensure a clear schedule record is handed over to the onsite team at start of construction.
Define the standard for a complete, defensible schedule review with checklists and evidence requirements.
