Job summary

Keel Infrastructure is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Center Sales Engineer to bridge sales and delivery for datacenter capacity. You will articulate Keel's MEP and facility design to customer teams while translating requirements back into deliverable solutions.

The role blends sales, engineering, and RFP responses, with travel to site or vendors as needed. NYC HQ on-site one week per month; remote work available.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in mission-critical facility engineering, datacenter MEP systems, or technical sales engineering for large-scale infrastructure.
• Ability to translate complex technical systems for customer audiences including technical stakeholders.
• Experience responding to and winning complex RFPs with technical design content.
• Experience selling or supporting sales of large-scale datacenter capacity.
• Experience working with A&E/MEP design firms or internal design standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical resource in the sales cycle, presenting MEP systems, cooling architecture, electrical topology, and facility design approach.
• Participate in customer prospecting calls with Sales to assess technical fit and set expectations before deals progress.
• Join design calls to walk through system specs and resolve open questions toward compliant designs.
• Build confidence with customer technical resources by discussing system design, redundancy, and capacity delivery.
• Own the technical sections of complex RFPs/RFIs and develop supporting designs and diagrams.
