Job summary

Keel Infrastructure is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Center Sales Engineer to bridge sales and technical delivery for datacenter capacity. You will translate design standards into customer-ready materials and translate customer requirements into feasible Keel solutions.

Experience in mission-critical facilities, power/cooling expertise, and a track record with RFPs is essential. This remote-friendly role combines sales leadership with hands-on engineering collaboration at our NYC HQ and sites

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in mission-critical facility engineering or datacenter MEP systems.
• Ability to translate complex technical systems for a customer audience.
• Experience responding to and winning complex RFPs involving technical design content.
• Direct experience selling or supporting sales of large-scale datacenter capacity.
• Experience working with A&E/MEP design firms or internal design standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical resource in the sales cycle, presenting Keel's MEP systems, cooling architecture, electrical topology, and facility design approach to prospective customers.
• Join customer prospecting calls with Sales to assess technical fit, set realistic expectations before a deal moves forward.
• Join design calls with customer technical teams to walk through system specifications and resolve questions.
• Build confidence with customer resources by speaking credibly to system design, redundancy, and capacity delivery.
• Answer detailed technical questions on power density, cooling, and electrical distribution in real time during meetings.
• Own the technical sections of RFPs and RFIs, building designs and capacity models as needed.
• Maintain a library of reusable technical proposal content to shorten RFP turnaround.
• Coordinate with Sales, Design & Engineering, and Development to scope deals that are technically sound.
