Job summary

QTS Realty Trust seeks a Senior Development Project Manager to lead retrofit data center construction, managing design, preconstruction and construction activities across multiple campuses.

You will coordinate with facilities, contractors, designers and data center operations to ensure timely delivery within budgets, while preparing executive-level updates and communicating project status clearly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in commercial construction.
• Experience with MS Office; PowerPoint and Excel for budgets and updates.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple campus projects with budgets and schedules.
• Provide monthly status updates for executives.
• Develop base-build program and campus design solutions.
• Oversee entitlement and permitting for sites.
• Review pay apps and change orders with contractors.
• Coordinate with procurement and stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering
