Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Development Project Manager to lead design, preconstruction and construction activities across projects. You will coordinate with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers and Operations staff to ensure timely delivery and alignment with budgets.

The role requires strong communication, problem solving and the ability to manage multi-phase site development plans while maintaining project master plans and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Five or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures, including management of Lump Sum, Construction Management @ Risk, and Design Build project delivery methods from conceptual development through procurement to close out.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint for executive updates, and Excel for budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects on a campus and maintain updated budgets, schedules, and status reports.
• Maintain daily interface with tenants and develop strong developer-client partnerships.
• Create and communicate weekly updates on development program and project status for executive reviews.
