Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data center operations.
• Experience with HVAC, chillers, CRAC/CRAH, plumbing and controls.
• Experience with electrical systems including UPS, ATS, STS, PDU, generators, switchgear and transformers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Google Suite and CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor and perform preventive maintenance of building systems to ensure uptime (UPS, MV electrical, generators, cooling, etc.).
• Monitor operation of mechanical and electrical equipment and record readings; adjust as needed.
• Analyze system operation and determine causes of problems; implement corrective actions.
• Manage work orders, CMMS, vendor management and customer-facing tickets.
• Understand site operations and manage incidents to protect critical systems.
• Comply with safety policies for hazardous materials; maintain a clean, safe workplace.
• Work shifts may include day and night; respond to site emergencies.
