Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Colorado City, TX is seeking a Lead Engineer - Critical Environments to supervise operating engineers and oversee all building systems.

You will schedule maintenance, coordinate contractors, train staff, and ensure 100% uptime while following safety protocols and KPI goals. This on-site role offers growth within a global real estate leader and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on data center/critical facility experience.
• 5+ years related work experience, including supervisory experience.
• Operating Engineers license (SMA) or equivalent.
• Certification as a Universal Technician for CFC’s (or within 90 days of employment).

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance staff and oversee all building systems operations (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety).
• Schedule preventative maintenance and coordinate contracted work to minimize disruption.
• Train staff in procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation; maintain logs and documentation.
• Monitor equipment performance, diagnose issues, and ensure 100% uptime goals.
• Assist Chief Engineer with KPI implementation and oversee contractor activities.
