Job summary

Amazon is seeking an exceptionally bright, self-motivated professional to source, negotiate, and execute large-scale data center real estate deals for AWS. You will work with landowners, developers, PE firms and local jurisdictions to secure entitlements and develop new data centers across the U.S.

The role blends strategic leadership with hands-on deal execution while collaborating with internal and external teams.

Qualifications

• Seven-plus years developing, negotiating and executing business agreements.
• Seven-plus years of professional or military experience.
• Five-plus years advising and influencing executive leadership.
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams and coordinating release schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead deal sourcing, engagement, negotiation and execution of real estate deals.
• Coordinate with Legal, Design Engineering, Economic Development and other teams to shape regional strategy.
• Lead entitlement process and jurisdictional engagement for transactions.
• Develop site plans aligning with market conditions and investment assumptions.
• Manage project schedules, budgets and cost tracking across teams.
• Lead vendors, consultants and contractors for acquisition, entitlements and delivery.
• Contribute to AWS internal process improvements and reporting.
• Travel as required.
