Job summary

Amazon is seeking a seasoned Real Estate professional to join the AWS Real Estate Team in the United States. You will source, negotiate, and execute large-scale data center real estate deals and navigate entitlements with jurisdictions and landowners.

The role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution to expand AWS’s data center network. You will work with legal, design engineering, and policy teams, managing multi-disciplinary stakeholders to deliver sustainable growth while balancing

Qualifications

• 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements.
• 5+ years of advising and influencing executive leadership.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams and coordinating release schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead deal sourcing, engagement, negotiation and execution of real estate deals including land acquisition and leases.
• Inform regional real estate development strategy by working cross-functionally with Legal, Design Engineering, Economic Development, Public Policy, Construction and Capacity Planning.
• Lead entitlement processes and jurisdictional engagement for transactions.
• Develop site plans delivering best-in-class product aligned with market conditions and investment assumptions.
• Develop project schedules and development budgets, tracking hard and soft costs.
• Lead vendors, consultants, and contractors supporting acquisition, entitlements and delivery.
• Contribute to AWS internal processes and reporting.
• Travel required.
