Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a senior real estate professional to source, negotiate, and execute large-scale data center deals in the U.S. You will manage land acquisition, leases, and entitlements while coordinating with Legal, Design Engineering, and Public Policy teams.

The role focuses on strategic development of the AWS Data Center Network, engaging with landowners, developers, PE firms, and local authorities to drive sustainable growth and community alignment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience.
• 7+ years of professional or military experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of advising and influencing executive leadership experience.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead deal sourcing, engagement, negotiation and execution of real estate deals, including land acquisition and leases.
• Inform regional real estate development strategy by working with Legal, Design Engineering, Economic Development, Public Policy, Construction and Capacity Planning.
• Lead the entitlement process and jurisdictional engagement for transactions.
• Develop site plans that deliver best-in-class product while meeting investment assumptions.
• Develop project schedule, development budget, and track costs.
• Lead teams of vendors, consultants, and contractors for acquisition, entitlements and delivery.
• Contribute to AWS internal process and reporting.
• Travel required.
