Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Data Center Quality Assurance Manager to be stationed on-site in McGregor, TX. You will lead inspectors, manage defects, and ensure conformance with construction contracts and quality plans.

Responsibilities include monitoring quality programs, reporting defects, coordinating with the owner, and supporting project deliverables and progress reports throughout the build.

Qualifications

• BA/BS plus eight years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• 15 years of experience with construction and/or quality management.
• CQM or other professional certifications.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead team of inspectors reviewing construction contractors’ workmanship, materials, and equipment for conformity with contract requirements.
• Maintain a list of all defects and omissions.
• Maintain Non-Conformance Notice and Open Issues Log Reconciliation.
• Monitor the contractor’s quality program for conformance to the plan throughout construction.
• Notify CLIENT of test failures and plan corrective actions.
• Perform Punchlist oversight and participate in Zero Defect walkthrough.
• Represent the Client in alignment with contract requirements and project deliverables.

Education

BA/BS with eight years of relevant experience

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture
