The Weitz Company in Houston, TX is hiring a Senior Project Manager for a data center project with our Mission Critical team. You will lead complex projects from start to finish, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and high quality standards.

Responsibilities include directing project teams, managing client and stakeholder communications, coordinating with architects and engineers, developing plans and schedules, handling change orders and subcontracts, and mentoring staff while

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction experience in a PM or similar role.
• Commercial and/or data center construction experience for a GC.
• Experience leading, developing, and mentoring a team.
• Industry-related degree required (or equivalent).
• Experience in senior living, hotels, or lived-in product construction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects from start to finish, on time and within budget.
• Provide leadership to project teams and manage client relations.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, monitor risk factors.
• Communicate with stakeholders and coordinate with architects/engineers.
• Develop detailed plans, budgets, and schedules; manage resources.
• Negotiate change orders, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
• Prepare monthly status reports and forecasts; manage finances.
• Ensure safety, quality control, and value engineering opportunities.
• Mentor team members and manage performance and development.
