Job summary

SB Energy is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Project Manager to drive planning and execution of data center and large-scale MEP projects near Lubbock, Texas. The role blends engineering coordination, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

You will support project managers, review technical docs, track milestones, and help prepare status reports for clients. Competitive base pay and solid benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field; or equivalent industry experience.
• 8+ years of professional experience.
• 2–5 years in construction or engineering project support roles, with exposure to data centers or large mechanical/electrical systems preferred.
• Basic understanding of MEP systems, construction sequencing, and project coordination.
• Familiarity with reading construction drawings and technical documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar).
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in coordinating design and construction efforts across multiple stakeholders.
• Assist in reviewing and interpreting technical documentation, including architectural plans and MEP specifications.
• Help maintain project documentation, meeting notes, and action items to ensure clear communication across teams.
• Track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones using scheduling tools.
• Assist with budget tracking, invoice processing, and change order documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to gather and organize project inputs.
• Prepare regular status reports and support the team in presentations and client meetings.
• Help identify potential project risks and elevate issues to the Project Manager as needed.
