Job summary

SB Energy is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead planning and execution of data center, critical infrastructure, and large-scale MEP construction projects. You will coordinate design efforts, review technical documents, and manage cross‑functional teams and external consultants to keep programs on schedule.

This on-site role is based near Lubbock, Texas, with a base pay of $140,000–$190,000 and a potential discretionary bonus, plus a comprehensive health and wellness benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field; or equivalent industry experience.
• 8+ years of professional experience.
• 2–5 years in construction or engineering project support roles, exposure to data centers or large mechanical/electrical systems preferred.
• Basic understanding of MEP systems, construction sequencing, and project coordination.
• Familiarity with reading construction drawings and technical documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar).
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

Basic Function

We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven Senior Project Manager to support the successful planning and execution of data center, critical infrastructure, and large-scale MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) design and construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a foundational understanding of construction project management who is eager to grow in a fast‑paced, technically complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in coordinating design and construction efforts across multiple stakeholders.

• Assist in reviewing and interpreting technical documentation, including architectural plans and MEP specifications.

• Help maintain project documentation, meeting notes, and action items to ensure clear communication across teams.

• Track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones using scheduling tools.

• Assist with budget tracking, invoice processing, and change order documentation.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to gather and organize project inputs.

• Prepare regular status reports and support the team in presentations and client meetings.

• Help identify potential project risks and escalation issues to the Project Manager as needed.

Base Pay - $140,000-$190,000

The pay range mentioned above is a guideline. We tailor each offer based on your unique skills, experience, location, and market benchmarks—while ensuring internal parity across our teams.
