Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Project Manager to support planning and execution of data center, critical infrastructure, and large-scale MEP design within construction projects.

You will coordinate design and construction across multiple stakeholders, review technical drawings and MEP specs, maintain project records, track timelines and budgets, prepare status reports, and support client meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent industry experience) in CM, engineering, or architecture.
• 10+ years of professional construction/engineering experience.
• 2–5 years in project support roles with exposure to data centers or large mechanical/electrical systems.
• Basic understanding of MEP systems and construction sequencing.
• Proficiency in reading construction drawings and technical documents.
• Experience with MS Office and project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to relocate to Abilene/Midland/Lubbock triangle in West Texas.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Management team in coordinating design and construction efforts across multiple stakeholders.
• Assist in reviewing and interpreting technical documentation, including architectural plans and MEP specifications.
• Help maintain project documentation, meeting notes, and action items to ensure clear communication across teams.
• Track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones using scheduling tools.
• Assist with budget tracking, invoice processing, and change order documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to gather and organize project inputs.
• Prepare regular status reports and support the team in presentations and client meetings.
• Help identify potential project risks and elevate issues to the Project Manager as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field; or equivalent industry experience.
• 10+ years of professional experience in the construction and/or engineering space.
• 2-5 years of experience in construction or engineering project support roles, with exposure to data centers or large mechanical/electrical systems preferred.
• Basic understanding of MEP systems, construction sequencing, and project coordination.
• Familiarity with reading construction drawings and technical documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar).
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• MUST be based in or willing to relocate to the Abilene/Midland/Lubbock triangle in West Texas
