Job description

Senior Project Manager – Data Center & Critical Infrastructure Projects

Location: On-site near Lubbock, Texas

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of complex data center, critical infrastructure, and large-scale MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) design and construction projects.

This role offers the opportunity to oversee high-value, technically complex projects from inception through completion, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of data center, critical infrastructure, and large-scale MEP projects through all phases of design and construction.
  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and overall project performance.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and client representatives.
  • Review and interpret technical documentation, including construction drawings, specifications, and design packages.
  • Drive project planning activities, establish key milestones, and monitor progress against project objectives.
  • Lead project meetings, stakeholder communications, and client reporting activities.
  • Manage project budgets, cost forecasting, invoicing, and change order processes.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and industry best practices.
  • Mentor and support junior project team members while fostering collaboration across project teams.
  • Provide strategic oversight and leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 7+ years of project management experience within construction, engineering, or mission-critical infrastructure environments.
  • Data center, mission-critical facility, or critical infrastructure project experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems, construction methodologies, project controls, and construction sequencing.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Experience managing project schedules, budgets, contracts, and stakeholder relationships.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management platforms such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Primavera P6, or similar.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • Base salary of $140,000 – $190,000
