Job summary

Sundt-2 is seeking a Project Executive to lead large data center projects in a safe, profitable, and timely manner. This senior role oversees project execution, preconstruction where applicable, and coordination across teams to ensure quality and client satisfaction in complex, high-dollar engagements.

The ideal candidate has extensive project management experience in multi-year, multi-facility builds, with strong knowledge of contract documents, schedules, budgets, and cash flow.

Qualifications

• 15-20 yrs experience in preconstruction and in managing construction projects.
• Thorough knowledge of contract documents, materials, equipment utilization, scheduling systems, productivity analysis, construction operations, and cash flow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Champions the orderly, timely transition of projects from the estimating phase to the field.
• Completes closeout requirements and punch lists in a timely manner; manages warranty callbacks.
• Coordinates with the Project Team the means and methods for successful execution; monitors resources.
• Establishes and maintains professional relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Develops the PMP including scope, procurement, environmental, time, financial, quality, safety, and risk plans.
• Has overall responsibility for project success, including safety, schedule, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Manages billing and payment processes to maintain positive cash flow.
• Develops CPM schedules and coordinates with field and procurement; uses Lean in scheduling.
• Participates in business development including client contacts, proposals, presentations, and negotiations.
