Job summary

Imperium Global seeks a Senior Project Engineer to support data center construction in Reno, Nevada. The role involves procurement coordination, submittal management, change orders, drawings review, and client liaison on site.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in electrical data center projects, strong analytical skills, and knowledge of inventory and supply management. This is a full-time on-site opportunity with an early shift.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Project Engineer in the electrical data center industry.
• Strong problem-solving, research and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of inventory and supply management.

Responsibilities

• Manage material procurement, including quantity take-offs, and track deliveries with the purchasing team.
• Create and maintain submittals, submittal logs and RFIs
• Price and process change orders, including lump sum change orders, and track field work orders and proposals
• Review project drawings and specifications
• Coordinate schedules with the superintendent, field team, vendors, manufacturers and subcontractors
• Act as a point of contact for clients and attend project and job site meetings
