Job summary

Data Center Frontier LLC is seeking a Data Center MEP Engineer for an onsite role in Reno, NV. The ideal candidate will connect Owners, Contractors, and Operations, providing engineering oversight for data center design, installation, and commissioning at an active facility.

Key responsibilities include coordinating design, reviewing RFIs and submittals, and supporting turn-over with rigorous QA/QC. A strong background in MEP systems and BIM tools is required.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in data center construction, design, commissioning, or MEP engineering.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• EIT or PE license is a plus but not required.
• Strong understanding of MEP / Electrical / Mechanical Systems in a data center environment.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM for design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Onsite / resident engineer coordinating design during construction, retrofits or upgrades.
• Conduct site observations, document progress, and provide reports to the design team.
• Review RFIs, change orders, submittals, and specifications with contractors.
• Attend design coordination workshops, commissioning meetings, and BIM coordination meetings.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support project turnover.
