Job summary

The Weitz Company in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Sr. Pre-Construction Manager to lead the Mission Critical team's ground-up data centers and Day 2 projects.

You will oversee estimating, scheduling, constructability reviews, and value engineering, mentor staff, and present to clients. This role requires at least 6 years of estimating or PM experience, strong leadership, and familiarity with BIM, LEED, Lean and Procore.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of estimating and/or project management experience in construction.
• Data center experience is strongly preferred.
• Proven leadership and mentoring ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction activities: estimating, scheduling, constructability reviews and value analysis.
• Oversee progress and ensure deliverables meet scope, budget, and client goals.
• Present to clients and manage risk, coordination with design teams and vendors.
