The Weitz Company is seeking a Senior Estimator to join our Mission Critical team in Des Moines, IA. You will review estimates for accuracy, develop scopes of work, and coordinate with trades and suppliers to ensure competitive bids and successful project outcomes.

Proficiency in quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, and BIM/LEAN concepts is essential, as is the ability to manage deadlines and lead less senior estimators. Competitive pay and an extensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Seven years estimating experience required.
• Experience with formal presentations and supervising staff is helpful.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsabilités

• Review estimates for accuracy, detail, and expectations.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs and pricing for self-perform or unit price estimates.
• Coordinate with trades, suppliers, and subcontractors to verify market conditions.
• Enter estimate data in WinEst and develop scope of work.
• Assist with post-bid buyouts and subcontractor presentations.
