Job summary

The Weitz Company is hiring a Senior Project Manager for a data center project in Sterling, VA, leading the Mission Critical team. You will oversee complex construction, manage budgets, schedules, and risk, and coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure on-time completion and high-quality results.

You will guide a team through preconstruction, buy-out, and execution, while maintaining safety, compliance, and strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction experience in a Project Manager or similar role.
• GC experience required in commercial construction.
• Experience leading, developing, and mentoring a team.
• Industry-related degree required; equivalent combination considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex construction projects from start to finish, on time and within budget.
• Provide leadership and direction to project teams.
• Foster collaboration and manage team performance.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and manage change orders.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders effectively and professionally.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets; manage resources.
• Prepare monthly status reports and forecasts; track financials and risks.
• Ensure safety, QA/QC, and adherence to contract terms and company policy.
