Job summary

EPI Power, LLC, a subsidiary of The Weitz Company, seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager for roles in Des Moines, IA. You will manage scheduling, cost control, and reporting to keep projects on track and within scope.

The role requires 7+ years in PM/cost control, a related bachelor's degree, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office. LEAN experience is a plus and you’ll work closely with project teams to deliver on schedule.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in construction project management, scheduling, or cost controls.
• LEAN principles experience is a plus.
• Industry related bachelor's degree is required.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scheduling, quality control, and reporting.
• Create, monitor, and manage project financials and cost reporting.
• Ensure project schedule is updated weekly; address long lead items.
• Review schedule updates, costs, and projections with project teams.
• Ensure work stays within contract scope and coordinate with team.
• Lead regular project meetings and participate in preconstruction efforts.
• Collaborate to implement project goals and improve workflows.
• Foster positive working relationships across the construction team.
• Identify value engineering and scope-reduction opportunities.
