Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corp. seeks a senior power systems professional to drive innovative, best-in-class power efficiency and density solutions for data center platforms serving AI customers.

You will collaborate with marketing, design, packaging, and applications engineering to translate strong ideas into market-ready products. The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, executive communication, and deep understanding of VRs, magnetics, and high-current power solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of multi-disciplinary experience in semiconductor industry.
• Understanding of general power architecture and product types related to CPUs and other high current ASICs.
• Experience with multiphase voltage regulators (VRs) or other datacenter power products.
• Comprehension of topics including magnetics design, passive component selection, power device driver challenges, and real-world implementation challenges.
• Experience defining power products for data centers or customer applications.
• Experience with embedded SoCs including cross-functional collaboration with HW/FW/SW teams.
• Excellent technical and executive communication skills.
• Experience with high level modeling tools like SIMPLIS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interface with customer systems engineers to understand challenges and value drivers.
• Analyze VR approaches to fit big-picture customer perspective.
• Build collateral to evangelize proposals and support customer engagement.
• Prepare executive summary level material for discussions with Sr Leaders and key customers.
• Directly support top-tier customer engagements to gain consensus and drive revenue.
• Maintain key customer relationships for early market visibility.
• Work with Renesas teams to find best path to customer delight.
• Support design, FW, and SW teams during execution with clarification or compromise.
