Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corp. is seeking a senior engineer to drive innovation in power efficiency and density for datacenter products addressing AI customers.

You will work with customers to define roadmaps and align system-level outcomes, engaging marketing, design, packaging, and applications teams to turn ideas into reality. The role involves interfacing with customer engineers, evaluating VR approaches, and building executive-ready proposals.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of multi-disciplinary experience in semiconductor industry
• Understanding of general power architecture and products related to CPUs and high-current ASICs
• Experience with multiphase VRs or other datacenter power products
• Knowledge of magnetics design, passive components, power device drivers, and real-world implementation challenges
• Experience with embedded SoCs including cross-functional HW/FW/SW teams
• Excellent technical and executive communication skills
• Experience with high level modeling tools like SIMPLIS is a plus

Responsibilities

• Interface with customer systems engineers to understand challenges and value drivers.
• Analyze VR approaches to fit big picture from a customer perspective.
• Build collateral to evangelize proposals and support customer engagement.
• Prepare executive summary level material for Sr Leaders and key customers.
• Directly support top-tier customer engagements to gain consensus and drive revenue.
• Maintain key customer relationships to enable early market visibility.
• Collaborate with Renesas teams to find best path to customer delight.
• Support design, firmware, and software teams during execution with clarification or compromise.
